Rooted in the Word. Led by the Spirit. Sent to our city.
Get to know the people, the story and the beliefs behind Salt Lake City Church.
A home for many nations in the Salt Lake Valley
Salt Lake City Church began in [year] when [a small group of families] gathered to pray and worship together. Today we are a growing congregation of [families, students and professionals] who call Utah home — united by a love for Jesus and for one another.
We are a local assembly of The Church of Pentecost USA, Inc., and part of its Colorado Area. That connection gives us a wider family of churches across the country and around the world.

To make disciples of Jesus who are equipped to serve God and transform their world.
The Church of Pentecost traces its roots to the ministry of Pastor James McKeown, an Irish missionary who arrived in the Gold Coast (now Ghana) in 1937. From those beginnings it has grown into a worldwide Pentecostal family of churches.
